Quick start

Streaming in four steps

Plug in over USB-C

One cable to your PC carries both power and data.

Power on

Pre-flashed and pre-calibrated — streaming-ready the moment it boots.

Open the admin console

The USB link runs a DHCP server, so your PC gets an address automatically. Browse to http://192.168.201.1 for the Sensor Administration Console.

See live depth

Open the Viewer from the console, click Connect, then Get frame — the 3D point cloud appears. Hit Start sensing for a live stream.

* 30 fps 3D reconstruction on the kit's Raspberry Pi 4 (20 fps with HDR recombination); the image sensor runs at up to 90 fps, and the 3D rate scales toward that limit with a more powerful host.
Spatial resolution is the finest detail resolvable at a given distance (smaller is better); accuracy and precision are deviations from a known reference surface and from a best-fit plane, respectively. All three are finest at the centre of the field of view and decrease toward the edges.

Connectivity & integration

One cable to live depth data

The ILT006 streams 3D point-cloud data over the MagikEye API. Connect via Ethernet-over-USB — one USB-C cable for power and data — or direct Ethernet; both run a DHCP server, so the sensor is reachable with no manual network setup. Wi-Fi is available for configuration, with wired links recommended for streaming.

MagikEye provides an SDK, a web-based viewer, and ROS / ROS 2 integration packages for rapid application development.
